Clarisse Pierre

Clarisse joined Hystra in 2023, and has since worked on improving access to electricity, fortified staple foods, medicines, and financial services in various geographies of the Global South. She notably acted as PMO within the Bouillon Consortium, a public-private coalition to accelerate large-scale fortification of bouillon cubes in Nigeria, Senegal and Burkina Faso, and provided Technical Assistance for multiple health start ups. In 2025, she undertook a 10-month secondment position as Supply Chain Operations Manager at HERi Madagascar, a leading solar home system PAYGO company.

Prior to joining Hystra, Clarisse worked in a brand and marketing consultancy in the United Kingdom, where she conducted extensive qualitative consumer research. She also happens to have grown up in China for 10 years.

Clarisse holds an MSc in Sustainability and Social Innovation from HEC Paris and a BA in Geography from the University of Oxford.
