PARTNER

Lucie leads Hystra's practice on marketing for low-income clients and last-mile distribution. She has personally supported over 50 companies in this field, and published a dozen of reports on the topic. At a more systemic level, she has helped build - and is now part of the Advisory Council of - the Global Distributors Collective, which supports last mile distributors of beneficial products globally.

Her key skills include helping align organizations and people towards common impact objectives, developing appropriate strategies to achieve those, and finding synergies with complementary actors to accelerate their impact. She is currently leading three programs for the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation supporting private sector players in developing new business models for lower-income consumers, each gathering philanthropic, private, and academic partners in win-win-win partnerships.

Beyond last-mile distribution and impact coalitions, Lucie has worked for clients ranging from large corporations on crafting innovative business strategies for the BoP, aid agencies on defining their private sector engagement strategy, social enterprises on creating their business plan and expansion strategy, and impact investors on building their funds or pipeline. She also played a key role internally in helping Hystra grow from a start-up to a small enterprise of over twenty employees with staff in 4 countries.

Lucie holds a Master of International Affairs from Columbia University, a Master in Engineering from Ecole Centrale Paris, and a Bachelor in Economics from Université Paris Dauphine. Prior to Hystra, she worked in strategy consulting at Bain&Company and conducted short assignments for UNDP, UNEP, and two American NGOs.
